Warehouse Activity Monitor (LL01) is not showing the correct data

Issue

  • LL01 displays old data.
  • The warehouse activity monitor is showing open documents even though they have been closed.
  • LL01 critical process monitor is displaying incorrect results.
  • Unconfirmed Transfer Orders (TO's) are displaying / not displaying in LL01.
  • Unconfirmed Transfer Requirements (TR's) are displaying / not displaying in LL01.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Goto transaction LL01.
  2. Enter the warehouse number and click on the execute button (F8).
  3. Select the documents you would like to view:
    - Unconfirmed transfer orders
    - Open transfer requirements
    - Open posting change documents
    - Open deliveries
    - Negative stocks
    - Stock in interim storage types
    - Critical stocks in production
  4. Press execute (F8) once your selection has been entered.
  5. The results are outdated and do not reflect the current situation in the warehouse.

Root Cause

The warehouse activity monitor is not updated dynamically. It is only updated through execution of update reports. The data displayed in LL01 reflects the warehouse status at the last execution of the relevant update report.

Solution

The listing of critical documents needs to be updated regularly. This is achieved by scheduling the following reports to execute in background:

  • RLLL01SE Determination of unconfirmed transfer orders
  • RLLL02SE Determination of unprocessed transfer requirement items
  • RLLL03SE Determination of critical posting change documents
  • RLLL04SE Determination of critical deliveries
  • RLLL05SE Determination of negative stocks in storage bins
  • RLLL06SE Determination of stocks in interim storage types
  • RLLL07SE Determination of critical stocks in production

In addition, a user can redetermine the data directly in LL01 to ensure they are viewing up-to-date data. To do this, goto the following menu path once LL01 has been executed for a certain input criteria:

  • Edit -> Determine data again (Shift + F5)

This will run the respective reports (listed above) in background and refresh the data on screen.

Issue

Cannot post goods issue (PGI) or delete a delivery after the serial number has been deassigned from Handling Unit (HU) when:

  • Transfer orders in Warehouse Management (WM) have been confirmed
  • HU already posted in WM to interim storage bin for goods issue Reproducing the Issue
  1. Create outbound delivery (transaction VL01N / VL10)
  2. Create transfer order to pick stock (LT03)
  3. Confirm transfer order and HU's are updated to the outbound delivery (LT12)
  4. Deassign the serial number from the HU (IE02)
  5. Cannot goods issue / delete the delivery (VL02N)

Root Cause

The storage unit / handling unit must be moved back to the source storage bin in order to reset the pick quantities on the delivery.
Depending on whether or not the storage location is HU managed, follow the relevant case below:

Non HU-managed storage location:

  4. Delete the delivery or repick the delivery (based on your requirement)

HU-managed storage location:

  1. Use transaction LT09 to move the SU back into it's original bin
  2. Confirm the new TO (LT12)
  3. On the pack screen for the delivery, delete the assignment of the HU's to the delivery
  4. In the main delivery overview screen (VL02N), select the required item numbers, click on Edit, select "Copy Pack Quantities As Dlv. Quantities" & Save (Ctrl+S).

Now  stock 100 Qty available in storage bin 09-09-99 with storage type 001 for goods reversal.

Temporary Solution for this type issue:

1. Currently  storage bin 6200000199 with storage type 904 is not available.
2. Transaction code LS01N: Create  storage bin 6200000199 and storage type as 904.
